yeah, but first is a ‘granny’ gear, basically for moving at a crawl. On the road (dirt or otherwise), you would only use 2nd through 5th.
This is the real "thing" ! Nice.
This was a double clutcher. The driver had to clutch to shift into neutral, release the clutch then depress the clutch again to shift into the next gear. It was possible to start in first then shift into second but difficult and slow. Part of learning to drive was in one similar to this.
