The prominent Victorian on the corner of 37th Street and Tracy Avenue could have ended up like too many Kansas City foreclosures — bought by an absentee landlord or left to rot. But as he oversees workers giving the historic Squier Park property a much-needed makeover, housing advocate Mark Stalsworth vows those things won’t happen, because of a new federal stimulus program to assist cities …
