Question by ShaeDee: My friends bought a motor from someone on Ebay?
They are distraught right now and asked me to see what I can find out and help them. Through Paypal they paid the man 2,000. for a motor. It was two months ago. He had a good reputation on Ebay and showed 65 good ratings. He received Payment but has not yet sent the motor. They had a conversation with him about the shipping of this motor, and he said people bid to ship these things. As of now, he will not answer calls from them. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to do for them to recover their funds or get the motor? Should they contact the police? I typed his phone number in at Google and it popped up with his name and several new postings for Craigslist in his area, so he is still active. I can get his address if I act interested in one of his cars for sale, I am sure. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Question by Callie C: Ebay question, item being sold has been damaged before auction has ended?
I listed an item on ebay about a week ago. I was keeping it in a shed out behind our house. The item already has bids on it, but the other day, it rained really bad and the item now has significant water damage.
I do not wish to sell this item due to its changed condition.

What do I do about this???
