Question by HEATHER: What happens when your not the registered owner and your car gets impounded.?
I bought a car a few days ago and i haven’t transfered the tile yet. Today I let my friend drive it to the store she got pulled over and arrested for driving on a susspended, i didnt know that and now my car was impounded. all i have is the bill of sale. who do i call or what do i need to do first.

if you have the title just go register under your name , even if you dont have it just apply for a duplicate and they will give you a registration card. They will realease the car to you because they want to see a reg card with your name., they dont care when you bought it.
